6.0 GW Integrated
Cell and Module Manufacturing Facility
DYCM Power is set to establish the largest integrated solar cell and module factory in the United States, located in the Southeast USA. This initiative represents one of the largest investments in U.S. solar history, aimed at building a complete and sustainable solar supply chain domestically.
Project Objectives
-
DYCM aims to become one of only three known U.S.-based integrated solar cell and module manufacturers. Currently, only First Solar and Hanwa Group (South Korean-based organization) have announced projects to become fully integrated producers of solar modules.
-
DYCM Power plans to procure manufacturing equipment and raw materials from best in class partners across the globe and, importantly, with no reliance on China. Key tier 1 suppliers have already selected.
-
DYCM Power has secured commitments for 4 years of offtake for Phase 1 production capacity. We currently have strong interest from utility-scale customers and expect to secure additional commitments for 6GW of annual capacity, confirming the significant demand from the market for our industry leading product.
-
By 2027, DYCM Power will create over 1,500 well-paying manufacturing jobs and drive over ~$1.0 billion in economic impact to the Southeast USA and the United States.
Dedicated to solar energy solutions driven by American manufacturing excellence.
-
Ideally Located
The facility to be selected will be near major highways, transportation hubs, facilitating easy and efficient travel and logistics.
-
Scalable Expansion
The location will enable expansion from 2GW to 6GW, with the facility’s construction and layout designed to accommodate future growth.
-
Supply Chain Security
We reduce customer risks inherent with Chinese supply chain dependency by maintaining a fully domestic supply chain in the United States.
